Arthur's four sons assume the managment of the company.

A.H. Harris opens an office open in Newark, New Jersey.
1979
A.H. Harris opens an office in Portsmouth, New Hampshire.
1980s
The company expands its product lines, customer base, and market interests.
1999
The company expands its geographic footprint into Virginia.
2002
A.H. Harris aquires its rebar fabricating division, HarMac Rebar and Steel Corporation, headquartered in Fryeburg, Maine.
2006
A.H. Harris celebrates its 90th anniversary.
2008-2009
A.H. Harris offices open in Charlotte, North Carolina, and Baltimore, Maryland.
2010
A.H. Harris developes its own clamp forming system - HARRIS 1500 - and expands into government sales.
